Valentine's Day Gift Guide

Valentine’s Day is only a few days away and while flowers and chocolates are a wonderful gift to receive, sometimes an extra surprise is even better. My husband and I typically go all out for Valentine’s Day since our wedding anniversary is February 12th, but it never gets easier trying to decide what kind of gift to get him. For this post, I decided to put together a little V-Day gift guide to help take out some of the guesswork for you guys. There’s a bunch of stuff here for everyone!

For Beauty Lovers
Too faced Soul Mates Blushing Bronzer ($34)- A cute bronzer/blush duo in a heart shape- perfect for the holiday of love and any makeup lover will adore this!

Etude House Lovely Cookie Blusher ($6)- If you haven’t tried this South Korean makeup, you’re missing out! These cute little blushes come in a dome packaging with a white puff applicator. Seriously cute! And they’re only $6!

Bath & Body Works (price varies)- You can’t go wrong with a sweet smelling body spray or a 3-wick candle from B&BW. And there’s always a sale going on so you’re sure to be getting a deal!

Buxom Pink With Envy Mini Lip gloss set ($32)- Pucker up on V-Day with these adorable mini lip glosses. The six shades range from a soft pink to deeper berry and orange shades.

Tarte Tartelette Eyeshadow Palette ($44)- The perfect blend of neutral matte shades, this palette is a must-have for the makeup addict in your life.

For Tech Lovers
FitBit Fitness Monitor ($99)- Surprise your gym-nut sweetie with one of these and they’ll be sure to love it! They track calories burned, heartrate and activities to name a few features.

JBL Flip Bluetooth Speaker ($79)- Cheaper than Beats by Dr. Dre, but still great quality, this is perfect for music lovers on the go. Just connect to your phone with Bluetooth and you can listen to your favorite music anywhere!

Ipod Nano ($145)- The newer models of these are slim and very sleek, perfect for slipping in your pocket for music-on-the-go. And they come in a bunch of fun vibrant colors.

Personalized Phone Cases (price varies)- Tons of online and brick-and-mortar stores make these nowadays, so it’s easy to find an affordable place to turn your picture into a cute case for your phone! Surprise your special someone with a phone case of a picture of the two of you!

Fragrances
Versace Yellow Diamond ($52-$90)- A crisp, clean scent, you can’t go wrong with a sultry perfume for your valentine. This is a newer scent (to me at least) with hints of orange blossom and freesia. It smells AMAZING!

Gucci Guilty Pour Homme ($68-$113)- Ladies, you would love to cuddle up to your man if he has this on. It is so delicious! It’s a yummy mix of sandalwood, lemon and lavender and it’s seriously the best smelling cologne I’ve ever come across.

Prada Candy Gift Set ($88)- One of Prada’s newest fragrances, Candy is a sweet but light smelling perfume perfect for Valentine ’s Day.  And look at that cute packaging!
Jewelry

Watches- Surprise your guy with a cool new watch for Valentine's Day! Every time he checks the time, he'll think of the thoughtful gift from you.

Earings- A pretty pair of earings are my favorite kind of jewelry to recieve, and everyone knows, girls love pretty things. Even a simple pair of studs is a sweet gift for the holiday.

Necklaces- What girl wouldn't love to recieve a sparkling heart necklace from their sweetie?

For Food Lovers
Can’t get the evening off to go to dinner? Take a raincheck and treat your Valentine to a gift certificate to his or her favorite restaurant!

Another thing to check out is Groupon or Amazon Local. There’s always tons of great deals from wine tasting tours, to deals for new diners and restaurants to try at a discounted price.

For the Kids
We always get little Valentine treats and gifts for our girls. Even something small, they always get super excited for it!

Books- No matter what the occasion, I always buy books for my children. It strengthens their reading ability, and who doesn’t love cute holiday-themed books?
Plush Toys- 'Tis the season for stuffed animals in every store, so why not pick up a cuddly friend for your little one! Places like Target and Walmart have a large variety for girls and boys.
Pajamas- Comfy jammies are another thing we like to get the kids for holidays because when all other plans fail, a movie night in the living room is always fun for them.

And of course, when all else fails and you're totally out of ideas, surprise your Valentine with some yummy chocolate! Everyone likes chocolate and your sweetie will be happy just to spend time with you on Valentine’s Day.

What are your V-Day plans? Let me know in the comments and I hope this fun little post was helpful!

Thanks for reading J
