BH Cosmetics Haul 2 | Review + Swatch

Back in September, I made a big order with BH Cosmetics (you can check out my haul and review post here) and I was so impressed that I decided to place another order. Just like the last time, I gave myself a $50 limit and since they were having a sale, I ended up getting a bunch of great stuff.
BH has tons of great products and the best part is that it's a super affordable brand. Whether you're just getting into makeup or if you're a total addict, you're bound to find something that you like. They have a huge range of eyeshadow palettes and I'm happy to see they're branching out with other products like contouring kits and eyebrow products. Their brush sets are also pretty good too for the price.
Let's get on with the haul!
The first thing I bought, which was part of the sale was this Dark Rose palette. The packaging is what really sold me. It's very Ed Hardy-esque with the cartoonish design. So cute! It comes with 12 eyeshadows, 3 blushes and a liquid eyeliner pen. I already love the eyeliner pens, so that was an added bonus but the shadows are pretty nice too. Some of them are slightly gritty but they still blend out pretty well and aren't too chalky. The blushes are pigmented and super pretty but the middle pink one is quite chalky and almost neon, so a light hand is best with that one.

The next item is another eyeshadow palette. I own another one of these baked eyeshadow palettes and I really wanted to try the Wild at Heart one too. These shadows are buttery smooth and super pigmented. The pans are also a pretty decent size. I can't wait to use the middle purple shade and that bright pink in a makeup look!

This Forever Nude Sculpt & Glow palette was a must for me. I had previously purchased it but left it in Arizona and I only got to use it once. It's a contour/blush and highlighting palette and I LOVE it. These powders are so pigmented and they blend like a dream. No joke. The contour shades are matte and aren't patchy on the skin, like my ABH Contour Kit can sometimes be. The yellow shade is perfect for under eye highlight and for setting concealer.

This next palette was an add-on special so it only cost $5 and I couldn't pass it up. The That's Heart palette is a collab palette with BH and ThatsHeart from YouTube. It's an eyeshadow and blush palette and it's just a cute little palette to have around. The eyeshadows aren't too terribly impressive in this one, they're slightly chalky and a little hard to blend. For $5 though I really can't complain.

I really love the three lipsticks I bought with my last order, so I decided to get a few more. This time around I bought Coral Escape, Charmed and Forever Nude. They are definitely a very creamy formula so a liner is best underneath and honestly the wear is average with these but for a few bucks a piece they are totally worth it.

Another thing I wanted to try out is the waterproof lip liners. I bought the shades Stripped, Peachy and Nude. The color payoff is amazing and these are creamy and just a really nice formula. And the waterproof formula is literally the best I've seen. Even after scrubbing, these babies stay on.

The final thing I ordered was another brush set. I really love the last set I bought and I use quite a few of the brushes daily so I wanted to get some more. This 12 piece set is just as soft and fluffy and I like how this one has more detail brushes like a fine eye liner and a fan brush. Even after washing them, they don't shed at all which is awesome, since this set only cost me about $8. And how cute is the alligator case they come in?

Like last time, I'm totally impressed with my BH Cosmetics order. You get amazing quality products for a super affordable price and it's really a good brand to try out if you've been on the fence about it.

Have you tried any Bh products? Which ones are your favorites? Let me know what you think!
